GENERAL LABOR
POSITION SUMMARY:
The General Laborer at Precision Landscape is responsible for building and constructing landscapes and is the foundation of the production process. They will work closely with the Crew Lead, Field Supervisor and/or Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while focusing on delivering a quality product to our clients.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
- Ability to operate various tools and equipment, including shovels, saws, levels, skid steers, trenchers, etc. (Equipment operation is not required but appreciated)
- Attendance – showing up every day during the production season, prepared to work hard and build amazing things
- Ability to listen to directions and complete tasks as assigned within allotted time and material budgets
- Ability to lift 50 lb block continuously throughout the workday
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Basic understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the projects, tools & materials used.
- Positive attitude towards your work and your team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Desire and willingness to learn the landscaping trade.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience in the landscape/construction industry preferred but not required.
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work outdoors in various conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold.
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds repeatedly and assist on job sites as necessary.
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials.
